My Name is Bernie Ryan. I live in a rural area on the border of
Counties Cork and Tipperary. I hold a BA in Business Studies and
a Diploma in Purchasing and Materials Management. I worked
as a Purchasing Manager for several years and although I loved
my job I was very tired of the commute to work which was a three
hour round trip each day.
I decided that there must be some way that I could use my
skills and knowledge to work from home without having to
compromise on my earnings. I did a lot of research on the
internet, looking for the “Great Idea” that would solve my dilemma.
I must say I looked at many sites which seemed to offer genuine
ways to work and earn a living from home only to find that they
were classic “Get Rich Quick Schemes” I am a firm believer
in the saying “If it seems too good to be true, it probably is” I
did not mind working hard for my salary, but with two children
approaching their teens I did want to have more flexibility in my
hours and conditions.
I then did some research into Franchise Opportunities. I visited the
UK to and meet with several companies offering Franchise packs.
It was during one visit that I heard of Mark Howard and Opnes.
Immediately I thought, Web Design, this is something I would really
enjoy doing, but I knew that although I am computer literate, I do
not have any technical or web design experience. However, I met
with Mark and he demonstrated to me just how easy it is to work
